PRESS: Labor Ministry sets prof standards of digital footprint study

MOSCOW, Aug 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Labor and Social Protection Ministry has approved professional standards for specialists in modelling, collection, and analysis of a digital footprint, and they are published on the portal of the government’s legal information, business daily Vedomosti reported on Wednesday on its website.

The ministry understands a digital footprint as “data about educational, professional or other activity of a person provided electronically, left by users in information and telecommunications networks,” an explanatory note to the document read.

The standards meticulously list the duties and skills of the specialists working with digital data left by users on the Internet.

People can leave a digital footprint on purpose or accidentally.
